Note from Gloria When I typed “Parent Coaching” and “Parenting Coach” into Internet search engines in the summer of 1999, nothing came up. Not one reference. Nada. This verified what my heart already knew—there was a need for a new, innovative way to support parents through a concept called “parent coaching.” When I formed the Parent Coaching Institute and Parent Coach Certification® in September, 2000 my goals were to develop a distinct concept of parent coaching that embodied these two major considerations: Certified Parent Coaches who were highly-trained professionals and possessed important qualities like high academic standards, impeccable integrity, discipline to succeed at a comprehensive, rigorous training program. They were kind, caring, and compassionate—professionals that parents would and could trust explicitly. An exciting, leading edge Coaching Model that integrated the latest research both in positive change processes and in meeting children’s developmental needs successfully—a model that would add to the tool chests of professionals working with families, leading them to become more knowledgeable, confident, and creative. In February, 2001, the Parent Coaching Institute (PCI) teamed with Seattle Pacific University to begin to offer a one-year, graduate-level, distance learning Parent Coach Certification® training program, launching the distinct concept of parent coaching that I had envisioned in 1999. I had spent three years researching, writing, and developing the training curriculum for the Parent Coaching Institute. Basing the coaching model on two decades of my work with parents and teachers, I put it into practical applications for others what I knew worked well from my studies and from my experience. Now, eight years since I launched the parent coaching industry, over 100 parent coaches in the U. S. and in other countries have been trained by my system. Why is this important to you? If you hire me as your personal coach or organizational consultant, you should know my success record. In coaching you or consulting for your organization I bring you the exciting ideas and practical strategies that makes the PCI so successful. If you are ready and eager to work though a transformative change process, I am ready and eager to talk with you. Please contact me at 425-753-0955 or e-mail me at info@GloriaDeGaetano.com. All Best Wishes,
If you are a mom, a dad, a couple, or a divorced couple parenting children seeking more satisfaction in your family life, I would love to work with you. So often the hassles of everyday life grind us down and we can’t be who we want to be for our children. Because of the unique challenges of parenting in today’s world with its unrelenting stress, fast-pace, and information overload, we have to give a whole lot of attention to a whole lot of things. As a result, often a small portion of us shows up for our children—not our full, creative, and optimal selves. With 8-12 one-hour sessions of either phone or on-site coaching conversations with me, I guide you through an exciting change process—one that has immediate positive effects in how you think about yourself, what you say to yourself, and how you show up for your children. I love sharing the concepts I have integrated in the Parent Coaching Institute’s coaching model conducted on the PCI Coaching Model demonstrates that after experiencing it, parents reduce their stress, take better care of themselves, gain personally meaningful insights, and successfully apply new parenting techniques that better serve their specific challenges. It’s a fun, energizing, creative, and life-giving process. To learn more about my coaching and how it will help you, please give me a call at 425-753-0955 or e-mail me at info@GloriaDeGaetano.com. Because of my responsibilities as Executive Director at the Parent Coaching Institute I coach a limited number of individuals or couples at any given time. If I can’t help you immediately, I can put you on my waiting list or I will refer you to one of the PCI Certified Parent Coaches® I have trained, handpicking a few PCI parent coaches for you to interview—coaches that I think would make the best match for your specific situation and desired goals. |

Organizations who contract me for trainings (highlight and link to trainings page on this website) benefit from on-going consultation services. The new concepts and strategies begun during the trainings continue to grow and develop with context-specific and time-sensitive consultation. To further the client’s goals, I am especially interested in supporting leadership capacity and will development (link to keynote page topics), within the organization through helping key individuals identify and develop qualities that support a living-systems paradigm (highlight and link to a PDF on What is a Living-Systems Paradigm?) for dynamic growth. My consulting focuses on keeping the integrity of both the organization and the leadership team, while examining ways to build authentic creative expression and both quantitative and qualitative markers for goal realization. It is a great pleasure to work in relationship with a team of inspired leaders! Like my coaching clients, I limit my consulting clients not only because of my time constraints, but also because of my preference to engage deeply into the process with you. If you want to make a change and make that change a positive and sustainable one, let’s talk. Please contact me at 425-753-0955 or e-mail me at info@GloriaDeGaetano.com and we can discuss how I can help you transform your highest aspirations into reality for your organization. |
